Over 35 years, Paul has more than 200 television and film appearances to his name, as well as numerous radio and voice productions. Prior to his screenwork, he played leading roles in over a dozen of the UK’s leading repertory theatres.
West End appearances include starring as Juror 4, opposite Martin Shaw and the legendary Robert Vaughn in the sell-out production of Twelve Angry Men at the Garrick Theatre.

In the last year, Paul has wrapped on two Guy Ritchie dramas (The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare and Young Sherlock).
He then filmed for three weeks in Ljubljana, Slovenia with director Tom Hooper (The King’s Speech, Les Miserables) before working on Sky Atlantic’s terrifying Gothic thriller, Inheritance, in Bristol and Jamaica.
Currently filming in Glasgow on Richard Gadd’s (Baby Reindeer) new six part drama for BBC Scotland/HBO, Half Man, with Richard Gadd and Jamie Bell starring.
Half Man is about Ruben who turns up at his estranged brother (Niall)’s wedding, acting as a catalyst for a revival of the last 40 years of their relationship.
Inheritance sees a bi-racial lawyer travel to Jamaica’s haunted Connaught plantation to fight an inheritance claim.
Paul finished a month’s filming in Budapest on the blockbuster Nuremberg, playing opposite Russell Crowe, Rami Malek and Michael Shannon, directed by James Vanderbilt.
Paul plays Field Marshall John Dill in Guy Ritchie’s film, The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare.
